Good Day - Forget Fad Fitness

You Don''t Need to be Popular to be Fit

So far it’s been a good day. Woke up to come love from fellow fitness/ preggo tumblr blogger Fitnommy2015 which was a great way to start the day. At work I found some cool ways to make the curriculum work for my lower level students, and I’m trying some new stuff out at the gym.

By new, I mostly mean stuff I haven done in awhile. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve been on a recumbent bike in years. It feels a little weird in my baby area, but I don’t think it’s bad. I can always try the regular exercise bike. I’ll ask my brother- a former gym manager would probably know.

Oh and I finally got my ring back. Big Bear had gotten me a new band with side stones for our one year anniversary. It came back in December but was too big! It’s finally back and looking great. Love checking it out all the time.

If we ever have a girl…

Growing up I had a weight problem. I was one those kids that was contributing to the “childhood obesity epidemic.” After choosing to make a change, I made significant progress in high school and lost over 50lbs. It hasn’t been without bumps in the road over the past ten plus years, but I’ve been dedicated to living a healthier life ever since and now I want to help others too.

Forget Fad Fitness is meant to be honest and positive while cutting through all the confusing, contradicting and painfully awful fitness and nutrition trends that are out there.
